Manorbier near Tenby
TY GWYN is situated inside the Pembrokeshire National Park and is only one mile from the coast as the crow flies. It is set on the coastal side of the ridgeway between Tenby and Pembroke giving a view covering five miles of coastline looking across to Lundy.
The house faces south with a spacious terrace and heated swimming pool. There are so many beautiful beaches that you can go to a different beach every day and there are lots of ruined castles to explore.
Nearby towns of Narberth and Tenby are good for shopping and the coastal path is wonderful for walking. There are also seal watching trips and fishing trips available locally.
The house has four twin bedded rooms, and one double bedroom and two modern bathrooms with bath and shower. A well equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, and deep freeze.
The beds are all made up for your arrival.
We do ask you to please BRING YOUR OWN BATH AND HAND TOWELS, AND BEACH/SWIMMING TOWELS.
(Tea towels etc. for the kitchen and bath mats are provided.)
There is a CD player and television with a DVD player, with a good supply of music and films.
In a children’s’ bedroom upstairs there is a second TV although this is not connected to an aerial as it has a DVD player for watching films, very useful for a siesta after the beach, or when parents are needing a lie in!!
There is a good size heated swimming pool within a high wall and child-lock gate. On the terrace there is a table and chairs and BBQ.
The house is central heated and has a good supply of hot water.
This is a private home not an investment rental property, and is therefore very cosy! There are a good supply of jigsaws, games, DVD's and CD's, and books. It is not a library, please do not take them away with you !
We do not recommend taking toddlers as the house is built into a side of a hill and therefore the garden terraced, the low walls on the terrace have substantial drops on the other side!
There is a travel cot, for babies, but please bring your own linen.
We ask that there is no smoking inside the house.
We provide loo rolls and soap - there is a wash hand basin in 3 of the bedrooms. There is a good supply of coffee and tea. etc. So that you can arrive and have a cuppa before unpacking. All kinds of oil and flour, sugar etc are in larder. Please just replace if you finish, ready for the next person.
The garden is fairly dog proof and the utility room is suitable for sleeping dogs. But please do NOT let your dog wander on the farm, as it is a working farm with cattle.
We require a 25% non-refundable booking fee and the remainder two weeks before you go.

October - March for long weekends/shorter stays £250 per night
We are very flexible on change over days if they fit in with other guests. Long weekends or part of weeks can all be arranged on a pro-rata basis, three night minimum.
